About this product
Mepiform scar reduction dressings are self-adherent soft silicone sheets for the management of hypertrophic and keloid scars. The silicone layer adheres gently to the skin and removes easily, and the dressings are designed to help soften and flatten raised scars and reduce their appearance over time. They can be used on both new and old scars.
Thin, flexible, and discreet, Mepiform can be worn through the day and night. Each box contains 5 sheets, which can be cut to the size and shape of the scar. Depending on the age and condition of the scar tissue, it may take from 3 months up to a year or more to see a change in appearance.
How It Works
Silicone scar dressings work by maintaining hydration over the scar and keeping the area covered. For best results, Mepiform is worn continuously and removed once a day to clean and inspect the skin, then reapplied. Use should continue over an extended period, as scar changes happen gradually.

Application Instructions
- Clean and dry the scar area. Cut Mepiform to the desired shape if needed.
- Apply directly to the scar, ensuring full contact with the skin.
- Remove once daily to clean and inspect the skin, then reapply after washing and drying the area.
For existing scars, use over a period of 3 months to 1 year depending on tissue condition. For preventive use, continue as directed by a healthcare professional. Follow the package instructions and your healthcare provider's guidance.
