About this product
The Oval-8® Finger Splint from North Coast Medical is a slim, ring-style splint that stabilizes and aligns the finger joints so you can keep using your hand with confidence. One splint covers several common needs: depending on how it’s positioned on the finger, it can help correct swan neck, boutonnière and mallet finger deformities, limit sideways drift of the finger, and rest a trigger finger.
Features
- Comfortable all-day wear: a wide, flat band spreads pressure evenly around the finger
- Low profile: thin 1/16″ high-temperature polypropylene is light and discreet
- Adjustable fit: a therapist can fine-tune the angle with a heat gun
- 14 sizes: each size fits both a full and a half ring size
Finding your size
Measure around the finger where the splint will be worn, then match the measurement below. Sizes line up with jeweller’s ring sizes, but swelling or joint changes can affect fit, so ask your hand therapist or visit one of our Edmonton stores if you’re between sizes.
