The Artisan 500AXW chrome plated steel commode is heavy duty. It comes in a 24" or 28" width and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. Not only is it strong, but with a welded and bolt construction and added gussets so it can be used over the toilet or by itself. Swing down armrests have full poly arm pads that clear the seat pan to allow for easy transfers to and from wheelchair, bed, etc. A quick release pin is used to lower armrests and will conveniently lock when armrests is returned to the upright positions.
