AMD really does mean anti-microbial
It does the job well, the clonis in my feet causes abrasions between my toes. Using the AMD woven between my toes prevent abrasions. And helps to stop the recurring cellulitis.

Kerlix AMD rolls are impregnated with PHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide), a powerful yet safe antiseptic that has a broad range effectiveness against gram positive and gram negative microorganisms including some multi-drug resistant strains such as MRSA. In addition to its antimicrobial capabilities, Kerlix AMD rolls provide fast-wicking action, superior aeration, and excellent absorbency.
- 0.2% PHMB
- Efficancy for up to 3 days
Applications
- Deep and chronic wounds
- Large wound areas like 2nd or 3rd degree burns
- Secondary healing surgical wounds
- Where packing is required
- Primary and secondary layer (fixation) around arms and legs
- Moderate to heavily exudating wounds
- Partial and full thickness wounds
- Kerlix AMD Rolls to wrap heads, limbs, difficult to dress wounds like burns, plastic and orthopedic wounds
