Each swab features a 6-inch plastic handle with an extended reach designed to access the back of the mouth comfortably. The swabs are untreated and unflavoured, making them suitable for use dry or moistened with water, an oral rinse, or a Perox-A-Mint solution. They are latex-free and non-sterile, intended for single use only.

How It Works

The foam tip is designed to absorb oral rinse or water when moistened, allowing it to clean and moisten the oral cavity in a single pass. The extended plastic handle provides a secure grip and enough reach to clean posterior teeth and gum tissue without discomfort to the caregiver or patient. After use, the foam tip should be checked to confirm it is intact before discarding — if any foam particles are present in the mouth, they should be removed before the swab is disposed of.

Directions for Use

1. Moisten the swab with water, Perox-A-Mint solution, or an antiseptic oral rinse if desired, or use dry.
2. Clean the teeth and oral cavity for approximately one minute. Instruct the patient to expectorate if able.
3. After use, check that the foam tip is fully intact. If any foam particles remain in the oral cavity, remove them before discarding the swab.
4. Discard after single use — do not reuse.

Contraindications & Precautions

• Children under 12 years of age should be supervised during use.
• Use a bite block when performing oral care on patients with altered levels of consciousness or those who cannot comprehend instructions.
• Single-use only — do not reuse or resterilize.
