Modular ramp questions

What is a QRamp?

QRamp is a modular access ramp system made from powder-coated aluminum. It's built from pre-made sections that fit together to suit your entrance, so it goes in quickly and looks good on your home.

How long does my ramp need to be?

For safety we follow the recommended 1:12 slope: 12 inches of ramp for every inch of rise. For example, a 21-inch step up to a deck needs about 21 feet of sloped ramp. We measure your entrance and design a layout that fits, adding platforms and turns where needed.

Are handrails included?

Yes. Continuous handrails come standard with every QRamp. Mid-rails and vertical guardrails are available as options for added safety.

What does maintenance-free mean?

There's no sanding, painting or staining, and the aluminum won't rot. The open-grip panels let water, dirt and snow pass through, but you should still clear snow, ice and debris as part of regular care, and check that bolts and screws stay tight.

How do I clean it?

Use a mild, environmentally friendly cleaner such as Simple Green, a scrub brush and a garden hose. Avoid harsh or corrosive cleaners and power washers, as they can damage the finish.

Will it damage my property?

No permanent changes to your home are needed. Each leg adjusts to the ground below, so the ramp doesn't need permanent footings and can be removed later without damage.

Can the ramp move with me?

Yes. Because it's modular, a QRamp can be taken apart and reinstalled. Your new entrance may need a different layout, so we'll assess it and supply any extra sections or supports.

How long does installation take?

Most home installations take just a few hours. We'll confirm timing when we quote your ramp.

How much does a modular ramp cost?

It depends on the height of your entrance and the layout you need. We measure your home and give you a no-obligation quote. Programs such as RAMP may help with the cost, and financing is available. Financing and funding

What warranty does it have?

QRamp includes a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser. It isn't transferable if the ramp is sold or donated, and it doesn't cover removal or reinstallation.
