Should I choose an interior or exterior lift?
Interior lifts keep your scooter or chair inside the vehicle, protected from weather and road salt, and suit SUVs, minivans and vans with enough cargo space. Exterior lifts mount to a trailer hitch and carry the device outside, so they work with smaller vehicles and leave your cargo area free.
Will a lift fit my vehicle?
It depends on your vehicle's cargo opening, floor space or hitch, and the size and weight of your scooter or chair. Tell us your vehicle make, model and year and your mobility device, and we'll help you find a lift that fits.
Do exterior lifts need a hitch?
Yes. Exterior platform lifts mount to a trailer hitch rated for the lift plus the weight of your device. We can help you check what your vehicle needs.
Can I lift a heavy power chair?
Yes. Heavy-duty models such as the Bruno Out-Rider are built for larger power chairs and scooters. Check the weight capacity on each product page, or ask us to compare options for your device.
