ConvaTec AQUACEL Ag+ Extra Hydrofiber Dressing

AQUACEL® Ag+ Extra is an antimicrobial primary dressing designed for wounds at risk of infection, showing signs of infection, or where biofilm is suspected. It incorporates Hydrofiber™ Technology combined with Ag+ Technology to help manage exudate, infection, and biofilm—three key local barriers to healing. This dressing is intended for use under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Features

• Antimicrobial primary dressing for infected or infection-risk wounds
• Ag+ Technology helps break down biofilm, prevent reformation, and kill a broad spectrum of bacteria
• Hydrofiber™ Technology absorbs exudate, locks in bacteria and biofilm, and forms a cohesive gel for moisture balance
• Reduced risk of maceration due to effective exudate and bacteria containment
• Micro-contours to the wound bed to minimize dead space
• Designed to help minimize pain during dressing changes
• Suitable for various wound types, including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, and partial-thickness burns
• Intended for use under the direction of a healthcare professional
• 9× stronger and 50% more absorbent than standard AQUACEL® Ag dressings
