Tensoplast is an elastic adhesive bandage made from extensible bleached cloth with a porous adhesive backing. It is designed to provide firm, controlled compression and support on areas where a conventional bandage is difficult to keep in place, such as joints and other irregular contours.

The adhesive is porous so the skin underneath can breathe, and it is designed to stay adhered through longer periods of wear. Fluffy edges reduce roughness against the skin, and a central yellow line runs the length of the roll as an overlap guide when wrapping.
