This hip replacement kit brings together five daily living aids: a folding metal reacher, a sock aid, a long-handled shoe horn, a dressing stick and a long-handled bath sponge. Each tool is designed to help with dressing, bathing and picking up objects, making the kit suited to post-surgery recovery, limited mobility, weakened grip or reduced range of motion in the arms, legs or hips.

Directions for Use

Reacher: Hold the reacher by the grip handle. Position the jaws around the item and squeeze the trigger to hold it. Use the magnetic tip to pick up small metal objects. Take care when lifting and moving items so they do not fall and cause injury.

Sock aid: Slide the sock or stocking over the sock aid so the flared top is open. Place your foot into the sock, then pull the loop handles to draw the sock all the way up. Suitable for compression stockings up to 18 mmHg. 

Shoe horn: Place the shoe horn at the back of the shoe and slide your foot into the shoe.

Dressing stick: Use the coated push/pull hook to pull or push shirts or jackets over the shoulders, pull socks on or off, and pull trousers up or down to the waist. Use the C-shaped hook at the opposite end to help open and close zippers or pull on loops.

Bath and shower sponge: Use the long handle to wash the back and legs when range of motion is reduced.
