How It Works

SenSura® Mio uses an elastic adhesive baseplate designed to mimic the natural elasticity of skin. As the body moves, the adhesive is intended to flex and retract accordingly, helping to maintain a secure seal. The Flex coupling connects the drainable pouch to the baseplate with a flat, low-profile click system that is designed to be discreet under clothing. The full-circle filter incorporates a pre-filter layer designed to protect the inner carbon and membrane components from contact with feces, which may help reduce clogging and extend effective airflow — intended to reduce ballooning during wear and at night.
