Telfa Ouchless Non-Adherent Dressings are sterile cotton pads bonded on both sides with a perforated non-adherent film. The film is designed to let exudate pass through into the absorbent cotton while not adhering to the wound bed, so the dressing can be lifted away with less disturbance to healing tissue.

Each dressing is individually wrapped in a peel-open envelope and can be cut to fit the shape of the wound without the layers separating. Intended for use as a primary dressing on lightly draining wounds, at home or in clinical settings.

Available in three sizes: 3 in x 4 in, 3 in x 6 in and 3 in x 8 in. Each size is supplied as a box of 50 dressings.

How It Works

The perforations in the film allow drainage to pass through to the cotton pad, which holds the exudate away from the wound surface. Because the film itself does not bond to healing tissue, the dressing is designed to release at removal rather than pulling at the wound bed.

Intended for use as a primary dressing for lightly draining wounds. 

Directions for Use

• Clean the wound according to the care plan or your healthcare professional's instructions.
• Peel open the envelope and remove the dressing without touching the surface that will contact the wound.
• Cut the dressing to fit the wound if needed.
• Apply the dressing over the wound.
• Secure it in place with tape, a bandage or a secondary dressing.
• Change the dressing as directed by a healthcare professional.

• Sterile. Each dressing is individually wrapped in a peel-open envelope.

• Do not use if the envelope is open, torn, wet or otherwise damaged.
• Do not reuse. Discard any unused portion of a dressing that has been cut.
