The DARCO APB All Purpose Boot is a closed-toe post-operative shoe designed for year-round protection, keeping dressings and toes warm and dry. Its roomy design accommodates bulky dressings and most fiberglass casts, making it a versatile option for healing after foot or ankle surgery, trauma, or wound care.

A rocker sole helps reduce pressure under the forefoot and heel while walking, and a square-toe design acts as a bumper to protect the toes — useful when k-wires are present — while also improving left/right fit. An ankle strap seats the foot firmly to limit heel slippage, and a removable forefoot closure secures the foot without buckle pressure. The removable insole has twice the padding of a standard insole, can be trimmed as needed, and lifts out entirely to fit DARCO's PegAssist off-loading insole.

Shoe size is affected by foot swelling and the volume of any bandages or cast worn with the boot. For the best fit, measure the width and length of the injured foot including any dressings, then match to the chart below. The inside-shoe dimensions guide is included in the product images.
