The Evolution Trillium Type 2 is a lightweight four-wheel rollator walker with a padded seat cushion and a wide padded back strap, giving users a place to rest when needed. A centre-folding frame folds by lifting the seat handle, and the walker can then be carried by that handle like a suitcase. The semi-concealed brake cable is designed to reduce snagging on clothing and doorways and makes handle height adjustment and maintenance straightforward. Available in Mini, Regular and Tall sizes.

Sizing

Stand upright with your arms relaxed at your sides and measure from the floor to your wrist. Choose the size whose handle height range includes your measurement, so the handles can be set level with or slightly above your wrist.

Directions for Use

The walker arrives folded, with the frame, seat, handles and wheels already installed. Attach the back support with a Phillips screwdriver using the supplied screws, washers and nuts, then set the handle height and tighten the knob bolts until snug. Before first use, check that the brakes hold the wheels when the parking brake is applied.

Adjusting handle height: Stand behind the walker with your shoulders level. The handles should sit at the same height as, or slightly higher than, your wrist. A therapist may suggest a different height for your needs.

Brakes: Pull both brake handles upward to slow or stop. Press both handles down until they click to set the parking brakes.

Folding: Pull up on the seat centre handle and the walker will fold while standing upright. To unfold, push down on the handle in the middle of the seat until the walker locks fully open.

Safety Information

• Do not use as a wheelchair.
• Do not exceed the weight capacity of 300 lbs (136 kg).
• Always set both parking brakes before sitting on the seat. The brakes must be locked whenever the seat is in use.
• Do not activate the parking brake while the walker is moving. This may cause permanent damage to the wheels.
• Do not walk with the brakes on.
• Make sure the seat centre handle is level and the walker is locked fully open before sitting.
• Do not overtighten the handle height knobs.

Care

• Check the tightness of nuts and bolts regularly.
• Check frame and tire integrity at least once a month.
• Adjust the brakes from time to time using the brake adjustment screw to maintain braking force.
