Description
Description
The Galien Ortho Go Walker Boot Tall is a pneumatic walking boot for immobilization and support during recovery from lower-leg, foot, and ankle injuries. Its taller profile provides added stabilization, and dual air cushions let you inflate the boot to compress the injured area for a secure, customized fit. It suits stable fractures, severe sprains, and post-operative use, and can be worn on either the left or right foot.
Two individually controlled air cushions sit between the liner and outer shell, so they stay in place while providing compression and support, and a built-in pump gives instant control over inflation for easy donning and doffing. An adjustable toe guard can be repositioned without tools or removed entirely, while an integrated rocker-bottom sole with a textured, non-skid tread supports a natural walking motion and shock absorption.
Recommended For
- Non-surgical treatment of stress fractures, stable fractures, and acute sprains
- Severe ankle sprains

Using the Air Cushions
The pump lets you inflate the boot to a comfortable pressure for your injury. Use a higher pressure when walking or active, and a lower, more comfortable pressure when sitting, resting, or sleeping — release some air before sleep so there is no direct pressure on the injury. If you feel extra tenderness, deflate to a more comfortable level. Do not over-inflate: too much pressure for too long can cause skin irritation or pressure sores. If you are wearing the boot for an extended period, have your skin checked regularly by your physician.
