Description
The Movo Moon is a joystick-controlled power chair for a single adult occupant, designed for indoor and outdoor use. It turns a full circle in place, which suits hallways, elevators and store aisles as well as sidewalks and pathways.
The frame separates by hand into four pieces with no tools, so the chair can be stored or carried in a vehicle.

Directions for Use
Charge the batteries fully before the first use. The charging socket is on the joystick housing; connect the supplied cord to the socket and to a standard wall outlet, and charge for 8 to 14 hours. Do not use an extension cord.
Assembly and disassembly are done by hand and need no tools. The joystick cable unplugs at the rear, the seat lifts off once the rotation lever is released, the basket and battery pack come away, and the front and rear frame assemblies separate at the seat post. Set the free-wheeling lever to the drive position before assembling or driving.
Set the seat height by moving the lock pin to one of the three holes on the seat post, and set the armrest width and height with the thumbscrews before first use.
Safety Information
- One person at a time, up to the stated weight capacity. Do not carry a passenger.
- Use the chair only where it would be safe to walk. Do not drive on highways, crowded roads or unfamiliar areas, and take extreme care crossing roads, using pedestrian crossings where possible.
- Do not drive on slopes steeper than 6 degrees or on slippery surfaces, and take extreme care turning on a slope. Use low speed for reverse, downhill, ramps, curbs and uneven ground, and do not use full power through sharp turns.
- Approach curbs slowly and straight on, and stay within the stated maximum curb height.
- Turn the power off before getting on or off. Lift the armrest and exit to the side, and do not stand on the footplate. Keep your feet on the footplate while driving.
- The free-wheeling lever releases the motors and brakes so the chair can be pushed. Do not leave the chair in the neutral position on a slope, and always return the lever to drive after moving the chair by hand.
- Do not wash or rinse the chair with running water or leave it in a humid environment; water damages the electronics, and the chair may not perform well in high humidity.
- Electromagnetic interference from handheld transmitters, two-way radios, cellular phones and nearby broadcast transmitters can cause unintended movement or brake release. Keep these devices switched off while the chair is on, switch the chair off if unintended movement occurs, and report any such incident to the distributor.
- The user manual carries the full warning set, the safety label descriptions and the fault-indicator chart. Read it before first use; it is linked under Resources below.
Care Instructions
- Wipe the body cover with a damp or lightly soapy cloth, then polish with an automotive liquid polish if desired. Do not use running water.
- Clean the upholstery with a damp cloth. Outdoor use can sun-damage upholstery, and normal wear is not covered by the warranty.
- Clean the seat belt with a damp cloth and mild soapsuds only. Do not use chemical products on the belt, as they weaken the webbing.
- Check that battery terminals, plug connectors and hardware are secure, and contact your dealer for corroded terminals or missing parts.
- Store the chair in a dry location at room temperature between uses, and charge the batteries fully at least once a month.
- An authorized dealer should carry out all maintenance and repair involving the electronics, batteries, motors and tires. The manual sets out the full maintenance schedule.
