PharmaSystems Pill Container & Tablet Splitter 17043

The Pharmasystems Pill & Tablet Splitter is a compact handheld splitter for dividing tablets into halves. A V-shaped holder grips the tablet on both sides so it stays square to the blade, which is designed to produce a cleaner, more even split than cutting by hand.

The blade is surgical stainless steel and sits under a hinged lid, so it stays covered between uses. Pressing the lid down brings the blade through the tablet in a single motion. A storage container built into the base is designed to catch the split halves, so the remaining portion can be kept in the same unit until the next dose.

The V-shaped holder accommodates most tablet shapes and sizes, including round, oval, and oblong tablets. The whole unit measures roughly 3.5 in (9 cm) at its longest dimension, so it fits in a pocket, handbag, or travel bag alongside a pill organizer.
