The Pride Mobility Jazzy Ultra Light is a folding power wheelchair built on an all-carbon fiber frame, designed for users who need powered mobility that travels easily. The chair assembly weighs 32.6 lb (14.8 kg) without the battery box, cushion or cup holder, and folds and locks flat for transport in a vehicle or for storage.

A two-motor, rear-wheel drive system with electronic regenerative braking and a disc park brake provides indoor and outdoor mobility, and suspension caster forks at the front are designed to smooth out uneven surfaces. The removable joystick controller and mesh cup holder can each be mounted on either armrest, though not on the same side, so the chair can be set up for left-hand or right-hand use.

The Jazzy Ultra Light is powered by a single 25.2 V lithium-ion battery, available in 10 Ah and 20 Ah capacities. Both charge with the supplied off-board charger, either on the chair or with the battery box removed. Select the battery capacity from the options above. Available in Black.

Safety Information

• Do not operate the power chair for the first time without completely reading and understanding the owner's manual.
• This power chair is not rated for occupied transit. It is not suitable for use as a seat in any vehicle, and the positioning belt is not a motor vehicle seat belt. Anyone travelling in a vehicle should be belted into a seat approved by the vehicle manufacturer.
• Do not use the power chair while the drive motors are disengaged, and do not disengage them while the chair is occupied or on an incline or decline. Change freewheel modes only on level ground, standing to one side.
• Do not remove the anti-tip wheels or modify the power chair in any way not authorized by Pride. The anti-tip wheels must be extended to the outermost rearward position when driving on any slope.
• Do not change the seating configuration or centre of gravity without first contacting Pride Mobility Products or an authorized Pride provider.
• Do not use the freewheel lever handles as tie-down points.
• Do not exceed the 300 lb (136 kg) weight capacity.
• Do not use an extension cord with the battery charger, remove the grounding prong, or use an automotive-type charger. Charge only with the supplied off-board charger.
• Explosive gases may be generated while charging. Keep the chair and charger away from flames and sparks, and provide adequate ventilation. Pride recommends not charging while the chair is occupied.
• Inspect the charger, wiring and connectors for damage before each use, and perform the pre-ride safety check described in the manual before each use.
• In the event of a loss of power, transfer to a safe position, seeking assistance if needed, then contact an authorized Pride provider to report the incident.
• Refer to the owner's manual and the Consumer Safety Guide supplied with the power chair for the complete list of warnings, mandatory actions and prohibited actions.

Care Instructions

• Wipe the plastic and metal parts with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleanser. Avoid products that may scratch the finish.
• Do not hose off the power chair or place it in direct contact with water. Direct or prolonged exposure to water or dampness can cause electronic malfunction and corrosion.
• Remove the cushions using the hook and loop fasteners and spot clean with a damp cloth and mild cleanser, then air dry. Do not submerge the cushions, put them in a dryer, or use bleach on them.
• Clean electronics such as the joystick with a microfiber cloth dampened with a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol and 30 percent water solution. Turn the device off first and never spray liquid directly onto it.
• Do not use any cleaner, solvent or lubricant on the brake pads, brake discs or motor and gearbox assemblies.
• Keep the chair between 18 degrees F (-8 degrees C) and 122 degrees F (50 degrees C). Store in a dry place with the battery switch off and the battery disconnected, and charge the battery periodically during prolonged storage.
• Take the power chair to an authorized Pride provider for yearly maintenance. Daily, weekly and monthly check schedules are set out in the owner's manual.

Specifications

Range and speed vary with user weight, terrain, battery amp-hour rating, battery charge, battery condition and tire condition, and may vary by plus or minus 10 percent. Dimensions, turning radius and ground clearance may vary by plus or minus 3 percent due to manufacturing tolerances. Range figures were tested in accordance with ANSI/RESNA WC Vol 2 section 4 and ISO 7176-4, derived from theoretical calculations based on battery specifications and drive system performance.

Sizing

The Jazzy Ultra Light is supplied in a single seat size of 18 in x 18 in (45.7 cm x 45.7 cm). Measure the user's hip width while seated and compare it against the seat width, allowing for clothing and outerwear. Measure the narrowest doorway, hallway and turn the chair will need to pass through and compare against the overall width of 24.49 in (62.2 cm) and the turning radius of 33.19 in (84.3 cm). 

Air Travel

Transport of a lithium-ion battery on commercial aircraft is subject to federal regulations and airline policy. Pride identifies the 10 Ah battery as airline compliant and states that the 20 Ah battery exceeds the maximum allowable watt-hour requirements.
