The ProCare MiniTrax is a pediatric walking boot designed to provide support and immobilization for a child's lower leg, ankle, and foot. It is the only pediatric walking boot to feature kid-friendly design elements — including a colour-coded, animal-themed exterior — intended to make wearing a boot less intimidating for younger patients. Beneath the playful look, the MiniTrax offers a lightweight build with anatomically shaped plastic uprights, a simple strapping and liner system, and a low-profile rocker sole with durable non-slip tread. Available in three sizes for children roughly 1 to 8 years of age. Individual results may vary.

How It Works

Indications

The Procare MiniTrax Walker is designed to provide support and immobilization to the lower leg, ankle and foot. It is suitable for the treatment of stable foot fractures, ligamentous injuries such as Plantar Fasciitis, tendon injuries such as Achilles tendon repair and lateral ankle sprains. Providing immobilization or controlled movement of the limb or body segment.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the materials contained in this product. This device is contraindicated for unstable fractures of the lower leg, ankle and foot.

Care Instructions

• Hand-wash the foam liner in 86°F (30°C) water with a mild detergent, then air-dry
• Do not machine dry or expose the liner to any other heat source
• A cotton or cast sock (not included) may enhance comfort during wear
