TheraLite Radiance Mood and Energy Enhancing Light 10,000 LUX

The TheraLite Radiance Mood and Energy Enhancing Light is a light therapy lamp designed to help counteract the effects of reduced sunlight exposure during darker months. It delivers the clinician-recommended 10,000 LUX at a comfortable sitting distance, with the light angled downward for more effective treatment — the orientation most commonly recommended for SAD lamp use.

Beyond light therapy, the Radiance doubles as a functional desk accessory. It includes a built-in alarm clock, wireless charging pad, and USB port, making it a practical addition to a bedside table or office desk. Four brightness settings let it serve as a standard desk lamp when full therapy output isn't needed.

The lamp has a compact rectangular footprint and folds for easy portability. It operates without UV output, and the touch-control panel keeps daily use simple.

Consult a healthcare professional before beginning light therapy, particularly if you have an existing medical or psychiatric condition, take photosensitising medications, or have a history of eye conditions.

How It Works

Light therapy works by exposing the eyes to bright artificial light that mimics natural daylight. This exposure is thought to help regulate the body's circadian rhythm and support serotonin and melatonin balance, which can be disrupted during months with reduced daylight hours. The TheraLite Radiance is designed to be positioned so that light falls downward toward the face, as recommended by most light therapy guidelines. A typical session is 20–30 minutes each morning.
