Bauerfeind Unisex VenoTrain Soft Thigh High 20-30mmHg

VenoTrain Soft is a unisex medical compression stocking from Bauerfeind, worn to support venous return in the legs and to help manage symptoms associated with chronic venous disorders such as swelling, heaviness and fatigue. The thigh high style extends from the foot to the upper thigh and delivers graduated compression, firmest at the ankle and decreasing up the leg.

The stocking is built from a fine knit that sits softly against the skin. The knit structure is designed to create a gentle massage effect as the leg moves, which Bauerfeind describes as stimulating circulation and making the garment easier to wear consistently over a long course of treatment. The fabric is opaque and easy to care for, and the stocking is offered for both men and women.

VenoTrain Soft is commonly worn as part of a compression therapy program, including after venous procedures. The prescribing clinician determines the compression class, the garment style and how long it should be worn. Bauerfeind recommends being measured by trained staff so the stocking fits and stays in position.

• Knit structure that creates a gentle massage effect during movement
• Graduated compression from ankle to thigh
• Opaque, easy-care fabric
• Unisex styling
• Available in standard sizes, with custom-made sizing available through Bauerfeind

How It Works

Compression is strongest at the ankle and decreases gradually toward the thigh. This pressure gradient is designed to support the return of blood toward the heart and to reduce venous congestion in the lower leg. The knit's surface structure works against the skin as the leg moves, which is intended to add a light massage effect during wear.

Safety Information

• Do not wear if any of the contraindications above apply to you.
• Do not continue wearing the stocking if the leg or foot becomes numb, cold, discoloured or painful. Remove it and contact your healthcare professional.
• Do not allow the stocking to roll, bunch or fold, as this can create a tourniquet effect.
• Compression class and wear schedule should be set by a clinician, not selected independently.

Care Instructions

• Wash at 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) using a mild detergent and a laundry bag
• Tumble dry on a gentle cycle
• Do not expose the stocking to direct heat
• Follow the care label sewn into the top of the garment
• Regular washing helps the garment retain its compression

Sizing

Measure both legs in the morning, before any swelling builds through the day, and use the larger set of measurements. Take the ankle circumference (cB) at the narrowest point just above the ankle bone, the calf circumference (cC) at the widest point of the calf, and the thigh circumference (cG) at the widest point of the upper thigh. For length, measure from the floor to the crease behind the knee: 71 cm (28 in) or less takes a Short, and over 71 cm (28 in) takes a Long. If your measurements fall across two sizes, or outside the ranges below, ask a fitter about custom sizing.

Length lG applies to the thigh high style. Short covers a measured length up to 71 cm (28 in) and Long covers over 71 cm (28 in).
