The Pride VivaLift! Ultra is a power lift recliner with three heating pads, an air bladder massage system and VivaLift! Tilt, a movement that raises the front of the seat as the chair reclines so the knees finish above heart level. It is the top of the VivaLift! range, and the only collection in it that combines tilt, heat and massage in one chair.

The chair runs on true-infinite positioning, which means the backrest and footrest move independently rather than as a linked pair, so the seating position can be set anywhere between upright and fully reclined. A power headrest and power lumbar adjust separately again. The upward lift tilts the whole chair forward to help the user stand. Heat and massage controls sit inside the left armrest, and the toggle remote holds one programmable memory position and carries a USB charging port.

A hideaway cup holder and a wireless phone charging pad are built into the retractable armrests. A lithium battery backup keeps the chair operable during a power outage, so it can be returned to a seated or standing position. The Ultra is available in three sizes matched to user height, and in seven fabrics across the Capriccio, Sorrento and Trento ranges. Choose your size and fabric from the options above.

How It Works

A conventional recliner pivots at the base of the backrest and the top of the footrest, so the seat itself stays level as the chair opens. VivaLift! Tilt adds a pivot at the rear of the chair, which lifts the front of the seat as the backrest goes down. The result is a reclined position with the legs raised above the heart rather than level with it.

• Allow the clearance shown in the sizing table between the back of the chair and the wall, so the chair can recline fully.

• Weight capacity is 400 lb (181.5 kg). Do not exceed it.

Size is matched to the user's height. Measure the space where the chair will sit, and allow the distance from wall shown below so the chair can recline fully. All measurements are the manufacturer's and may vary by plus or minus 1 in (2.5 cm).
